About This Site
This site has been designed to follow Web standards and accessibility guidelines.
Each page uses semantic, structural HTML in the way it was originally intended (e.g. tables are only used for tabular data and not for layouts). Meanwhile, cascading style sheets (CSS) apply the look and feel.
Separating content from design in this way has many benefits, including increased accessibility, improved search engine optimisation (SEO) and the ability to view the site in all standards-compliant browsers and other devices.
If style sheets aren't loaded (e.g. you're using an older browser or a screen reader) you can still read content in the intended order but without the design applied.
Validation
Every page on this site uses valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.
